I agree that pageflakes is kind of a pain in the butt... but it's not too bad once you play with it for a while.
Try adding a To-Do list on there. I usually just list on the weekly assignements and check em off at the end of the week so that it shows I'm maintaining the page. Other than that I'm not sure what else I could really update on there.
